I’ve been an aspiring author since high school when I wrote short stories. I began my first novel while attending college later in life. I continued to attend writing classes and writer’s conferences, and worked on my novels while I worked in the offices of a major soft drink company. Now, after taking early retirement, I finally have the chance to do write full-time. I also enjoy playing the piano, being an organic gardener, and an amateur Lapidary. I’m a past member of the Agatha Christie Society and am currently a member of the National Chapter of Sisters in Crime. I write mysteries with light romance and a little humor. When I’m not writing mysteries, reading them or reviewing them, I host other authors and their works on my blog each week. My husband and I live in a suburb of Chicago along with our Black Lab mix, Bailey.
